Fang Zhao--I have two children in Weibel Elementary School. One is 4th grade and the other one is in 2nd grade. I'd like to be a member of School Site Council to learn about and improve Weibel School.
Faria Khan—I have been a Weibel parent for 11 years. I have had 2 children go through Weibel, 2 currently attending, and 1 yet to come. I was PTO president 3 years ago and have been a part of the board for 7-8 years. I have a lot of experience volunteering at schools as I am very active at Weibel, Horner, and Irvington as well as the Fremont Education Foundation.
Jessica Cade--I currently worked at Corsair in Fremont. I’m the Executive Assistant to the CEO. My family & I moved from Georgia to California in February 2014. I’m originally from France. I would like to be part of the SSC because I have always wanted to be a little bit more involved (and thus get a better understanding) with the school and the community.
Ram Rangarajan--I am the parent of three children. My daughter is in TK, and my older children went to Weibel a long time ago. I am VP of product and platforms at a company called Movidius which deals with camera and computer vision related solutions. I believe in the formative values that teachers bring to their students and in how they structure their learning. If there are ideas in nuanced ways I’d like to bring those to the table. I believe what students learn here is going to stay with them for a long time.
Saumya Rajan--No statement available.
Senthil Ranganathan--No statement available.
Uspasna Gupta--I am a Realtor by profession and a parent of two gratifying kids (a 6th grader and a 4th grader) at Weibel. I will embrace the opportunity of being on School Site Council because I understand that it provides great information sharing around issues in kids education. Student school Council is a fantastic way to get tapped into the school community and will allow me to play a role in advocating improvements in different spheres. Being an active member will help me learn more about curriculum, staffing, operations and policies that enrich our children.
