Young Composer’s Competition

Congratulations Diya. S. Diya’s composition was chosen to represent MSJE at the District level. The district winners’ composition will be featured at the Fremont Symphony Orchestra concert on March 22nd. Good luck Diya.

1st and 2nd graders receive new playground structure

Over winter break, FUSD installed a new playground structure on our primary play yard. Students were able to use the equipment this past Thursday. You could feel and see the excitement as the students were smiling and playing with tremendous enthusiasm on the new equipment.

6th Grade Math Placement Parent Information Night

Join us for an informational session on the 6th grade math placement process.  This session will cover the secondary math pathways and explanation of criteria used for the process. Information Nights will be held on Monday, February 27 and Monday, March 13, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the District Office, 4210 Technology Dr. (Professional Development Center) Please contact Curriculum and Instruction at 510-657-2350 ext. 12705 if you have questions about this event.

Reservation Form for 2017-2018:

Reservation forms for students currently in TK thru 5th grade will be mailed on February 13th. Please look for a piece of mail from FUSD in your mailbox. The deadline to return the form with the proof of residency is February 28th.

Kindergarten and TK Registration

If you have a student currently enrolled in Grades TK through 5th, and the student has a younger sibling who will be 5 years old by September 1, 2017, your child is eligible to attend kindergarten in 2017-2018.  If your child’s birthday falls between September 2, 2017 and December 2, 2017 your child is eligible for TK. Please pay close attention to this Registration & Enrollment information.

  • Pick up Enrollment Packet for TK-6th grade siblings of current TK-5th grade enrolled students at your home school. Packets are available January 10th thru January 18th, 2017

  • Return completed enrollment packet to Student Support Services with required documents.

·         All Science Fair entries must have a Mission San Jose numbered entry form and attached to the board.

·         Competitive Science Fair projects will be delivered to the Northwest (right side) door of the Multi –Use Room

·         Non-competitive projects will be delivered to the Southwest (left side) door of the Multi-Use Room

·         Projects not picked up by 2:40 on January 27, 2017 will be discarded

Change of Address/Residency:

Please be reminded that it is the responsibility of parents under Board Policy 5111 to notify the school office within five (5) days if they move in or out of the attendance area.  Any move within the attendance area still requires two (2) new proofs of residency to verify the new address.  Failure to do so will result in revocation of the student’s placement at the school.
