One of the most important tasks on the agenda for the Board of Education to discuss and take action on was to select a project option and authorize funds for the construction of a new science laboratory building at Washington High School (WHS).

At its November 9, 2016, Board of Education Meeting, the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education took the following action on agenda items pertaining to the Measure E Bond Program
“I am here for three reasons,” said Dr. James Morris, Fremont Unified School District Superintendent, speaking to the FUSD Measure E Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) at its November 2, 2016, meeting. “The first is to say thank you to this committee. Each of you has put in an incredible amount of time, effort and energy on behalf of Measure E. We went to this community and asked them to pass what was at the time the largest bond in the County.”

At its October 26, 2016, Board of Education Meeting, the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education received the Financial Status Update on the 2014 Measure E Bond Program, and authorized staff to take action on several agenda items

At its September 28, 2016, Board of Education Meeting, the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education authorized the budget reallocation for Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Projects for thirty sites identified in Series A.
