Peer Resource is having it's annual Benefit Show on Friday, February 24th! This year's theme is "Write Your Own Chapter." The show will include a variety of performers as well as guest speakers who will discuss their experiences with mental health. Various teachers are offering extra credit for attending. The show will be from 6:30-8:30 pm in C120. You can buy tickets for 8 dollars from any Peer Resource member or for 11 dollars at the door. We hope to see you all there!"
Universal Performers will be meeting at lunch in Room E2A. We will be discussing an upcoming fundraiser.
Attention all relayers:
If you have signed up for Relay For Life, there will be a Relay Rush Kickoff Party on Friday, February 24, afterschool in the B-Wing Cafeteria. Be there for free food and fun activities!
THE CHEMISTRY OLYMPIAD QUALIFIER TEST IS SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 7, 2017 at 3:15 PM in Room C18. Contact Mrs. Kumar before school for registration. Sign-ups will start from February 28th(Tuesday) in room C18. Be sure to register no later than March 6th. Due to limited space, the first 40 students will be eligible to take the qualifier test. Only the top two students will be selected and notified for the 2017 National Chemistry Olympiad. Participants must be US Citizens or permanent residents.
JUNIORS AND SENIORS: Chadbourne Science camp counselors are needed. The camp runs April 4 through April 7. For a flyer about applying please see Mrs Vargas in the office.
The Chinese Placement Test for Mission San Jose High School will be Wednesday, March 1 in Room N1. Below please find the online registration link:
All MSJ students planning on taking an Advanced Placement Exam this May will be able to register online starting February 6th at 3 pm through February 27th at 1 pm. The link and information will be available through School Loop News to current students and parents so please check your email for more details.

Seniors: GPA verifications for Cal Grant have been uploaded by Fremont Unified to the California Student Aid Commission. All you need do to apply for Cal Grant is file your FAFSA. File by March 2nd!

Sophomore Career Units – Feb/Mar - Sophomores will spend three periods at the Career Center during their English classes in February/March to explore their strengths and career interests.
